Orchid Inn Bangkok (they also have Orchid House further down the street) is one of these small hotels scattered on Sukhumvit soi 4. They’re probably the best deal in town, except for the Khao San Road area.

Maxim’s Inn is this old building located at the very end of Sukhumvit soi 7/1. When you can’t go further, you’re there. It may be a bit run down, but the location is very good. Especially if you’re up to try the infamous Eden Club on the same soi.
