i only joined this forum recently, so, i'll add some info here, in case you return or are still in korea. ^^
(with all that i am able to learn about thailand's nightlife, thanks to sukh, i hope i can reciprocate by providing some info here about korea).

there are two areas (categories) i've been to for the "service" similar to the mentioned in the thailand sections, but of course there are other categories as well. let me try to explain three, but one at a time. this post, i'll focus on one for now.

1. window shopping @ red light district (very similar to amsterdam's famous window shop-like-places)

[for #1]
this an area nicknamed "oh-par-par" (pal: pronounced like "bar", pa-ar).
that means "five-eight-eight".
it's an area by the "chung-ryang-rhee, (청량리역)" subway station in northern seoul.

-as i noted A --> B, on how to get to the area, basically from the Subway Line 1, you get off at that subway exit #5, and walk over to a "bakery" by the corner, and start walking up that street and you can't miss the windows with girls standing in the shop. you can tour that area, see what's up.


-prices & time-
*starting price is 70,000 KRW for 15 mins
(which is about $70 USD, if it was an even $1 = 1000KRW, but these days, the dollar is stronger by about 20%)
* 140,000 KRW for 30 mins
* 210,000 KRW for 1 hour
* ??? KRW for take out to a motel, etc, but this is quite expensive, but i've seen some people do it... b/c the girl is just really hot.


-service-
[1] the basic 70,000KRW for 15min is what people usually get. it's the efficient "get in, a short BJ, then FS(?)". if you take too long to finish, you either have to pay an extra 70,000KRW for an extra 15min, or you have to leave.
(is FS the right language here... for the finish?)
*depending on the girl, it can be quite mechanical, but i have found some to be good regardless.
*as some also pointed out, if you get to know the girl, of course things get more smooth, etc. for example, i went to this one girl about 3~4 times, and by the 2nd time, we got comfortable enough that she allowed some kissing, etc. most girls would not allow that at all, unless they "trust" or feel comfy about you.


-588 reputation-
*there are couple of window shop places in korea (usually located near major train stations), but reason why oh-par-par(588) is popular is because they have the best looking (hottest) girls. however, over the recent years, they are starting to tear down this place one by one, to build a "cleaner" & hi-class neighborhood. kind of like what they did at ropponggi in tokyo. therefore, the girls have started to leave and go to other establishments but i dont know where b/c this started to happen couple years ago before i got to korea. but literally, my friends have told me when they came to 588 in 2002, or 2005, there were tons of girls who were just drop dead gorgeous. and he said, no joke, almost to the caliber as some of the hot korean celebs. if any of you are into korean dramas or girl bands, many of them are just ridiculously hot.


-my experience-
*now, my recent experience, which dates only from 2008 to now, i have seen quite a fair number of hot girls here, but these days (2010), the selection is fewer and so is the quality. it IS still the best window shop place in seoul, b/c i checked out yong-san subway station area, and it was still blah.

-someone similar to this girl is still @ 588, but is short and petite, not tall & petite like the actress in the pic (btw, this is a pic of a korean american actress, grace park, of the show battlestar galactica)
*hence the reason why i go here is, while 15min is short, it was damn worth it for me to just get a release with a damn hot girl, but a very reasonable price.
(also note, IF what my friend was true, about that there were plenty of hot girls back in 2002, then i can only imagine how great it was to go here... damn... i missed my timing... haha)
*there are still at least... 5 girls whom i consider "HOT" that i would go to there, and about another 7~8 who are "sexy enough" for me to consider. but when it's the same price, i always just wait for the hot girl to be available.


-how it works-
*if you've ever been to amsterdam (i only went once), it'll be very similar to the window shop concept (is there a window shop concept in thailand?)
*you looking around the shops, the girls will try to catch your attention
*you pick a girl and go to that shop
*the girl leads you into a room, and you pay right there to the girl
*she'll say relax and take of your clothes, while she'll go give the cash to her boss
*then she returns, and tells you to usually lie on the bed, and she'll wash/wipe you with wet paper towels in your *ahem* areas.
*then she'll either give you a BJ with or without a condom on (depending on the girl)
*after about a few minutes of that, she'll either get on top of you, or she'll lie down and ask you to do missionary style.
*you might be able to change to various positions, depending on how willing the girl is, but usually i get to do 2 other positions.
*and then you finish, she'll wipe you again with wet paper towels, and so on. done.


-for foreigners-
*not sure if in BKK they have different prices for foreigners, but at 588, i asked the girls and they said it's 90,000 KRW or something like that. basically, they are more reluctant to give service to non-koreans (except for japanese, b/c alot of japanese tourists go to seoul, and i guess they're kind of regular customers), but if they do provide the service, you pay a bit more money.
