Embassy Entertainment is a large Massage Parlor located on Petchburi soi 39, next to the now famous Shock 39 After Hours Night Club. It’s an old Massage Parlor mainly catering to locals. However foreigners are also welcome. Inside there is a large fishbowl, and the service price is 1,500 baht all inclusive. Don’t expect to [...]

Bangkok Flooding Update, November 16th 2011

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

The (flood) water is still not there yet. The (drinkable) water is back! It’s not completely back to normal as far as food and drink shortage is concerned, but it’s on the good way. I reckon that unless a major issue (locals destroying the flood barriers), Sukhumvit, Silom and Ratchada will stay dry and avoid [...]

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

“Inspired by the social and artistic milieu of fin de siècle Europe and King Rama V-era Thailand, Hotel Muse combines cosmopolitan chic with playful elegance amid a new golden age of Asia. Occidental, Oriental and all things opulent. Rising high above one of the city’s most desired residential districts, Hotel Muse brings to Bangkok a [...]

Bangkok Flooding Update, November 10th 2011

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

Same old, same old. The flood water is not moving anymore and Bangkok downtown is still dry from Huay Kwang (Poseidon Massage, Emmanuelle Massage, Natcharee Massage, etc.) to Sukhumvit (Nana, Soi Cowboy) and Silom (Patpong). Why has the water stopped? Who knows. Amazing Thailand! (or should I say “Miracle Thailand!” as they say now). And [...]

Two more massage shops!

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

Bangkok night&naughty nightlife is slow, but it is not dead. After the soft (and several times postponed) opening of Dr BJ’s Salon a couple weeks ago, trying to revitalize (or resuscitate?) Sukhumvit soi 7/1, it is now a double opening that we are glad to announce here. Indeed, not one, but two new Teen massage [...]

Udom Suk Massage, Udom Suk soi 17, Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Udom Suk (or Udomsuk) is the name of a new BTS Skytrain Station on the new line extension between On Nut and Bearing (East). As many other BTS stations, Udom Suk is named after a street, in this case Udom Suk road, aka Sukhumvit soi 103, that starts nearby. Udom Suk is not the name [...]

Bangkok Flooding Update, November 5th 2011

Saturday, November 5th, 2011

It is now confirmed. “Inner Bangkok“, as they call it (Read: the part of Bangkok that they did everything to protect) is flooded or will be flooded (as you can read here). As expected, it comes from the north, and the LadPrao road, north of Ratchada, has been one of the first areas, with the [...]

Red Parrot Sports Bar, Patpong soi 2, Bangkok

Friday, November 4th, 2011

Red Parrot Sports Bar is a relatively new (a few months old) pool bar located on the Surawong end of Patpong soi 1 and soi 2 (it is located in a building in the middle of Patpong soi 1 and soi 2, with entrances on both sides). I always wanted to check it out to [...]

Bangkok Flooding Update, November 1st 2011

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

Bangkok Downtown (Sukhumvit, Ratchada, Silom, Sathorn, etc.) is still completely dry. Some other areas have been flooded, in the East and in the North, but not us. Still, it is not clear if the threat is over or not. Some say yes, some say no. My advice is: if you are a risk taker and [...]
