Mixx Discotheque, InterContinental Hotel, Chitlom, Bangkok

Mixx Club is located on the basement of the Intercontinental Hotel, on Ploenchit Road (Chitlom BTS Station), and used to have different names and different owners in the past few years (Club Ibiza, Fashion-TV Club, etc.). It now seems to have found a good formula to become one of the preferred clubs in town, thanks to its good layout and its 2 separate rooms with 2 different kinds of music.
Mixx Club is an upscale club and would easily compare with Q-Bar or Narz rather than Spicy or Climax. It caters to all party goers and organizes several events and models nights, that draw all kind of crowd, including wannabe female models, both Thai and European.
This is the kind of club where you can bring a non-bargirl without risking to be punched in the face for taking her to a raunchy place.
However you will also meet freelance girls and ladyboys that you could easily meet at Spicy, Climax or Insomnia. Mixx Club has also a branch in Pattaya.
The entrance fee is 250 baht with a drink, and bottles start at 2,500 baht and up.
As I said, Mixx club closes late, and usually only starts going after 1 or 2am, when bars and other clubs close.
