Guest Friendly Hotel Bangkok: Emporium Suites Hotel and Serviced Apartments, Sukhumvit soi 24

I would expect that my readers ask about ‘a cheap hotel with swimming pool near the nightlife area’, or ‘a guest house with free WIFI near a BTS station’. But no. I got requests for luxurious serviced apartments like the Emporium Suites or 5 star hotels like the new Renaissance Hotel (coming soon)!

Anyway, “The Emporium Suites by Chatrium combines the prestige of a premium 5-star hotel and luxury-serviced residences within one of Bangkok’s most sought-after business and leisure addresses where the lifestyle is both unique and privileged.”
That’s what the brochure says. But it’s true that the hotel looks very classy and that the area is great for shopping and leisure.
Located in the same building as the Emporium Department Store, Emporium Suites Hotel is next to Sukhumvit main road and the Phrom Phong BTS station. A central and easy-to-access part of the town.
Of course facilities are great too, including swimming pool, health club, fitness room, business center, and more!
Rooms at the desk are sold for 8,000 and 9,000 baht a night, but they’re much cheaper on Agoda. Prices drop to 3,500 or 4,000 baht for a Superior Room! At this price it is a bargain!
Note that the breakfast is probably not included for this rate, and that WIFI Internet in the room costs 500 baht for 24 hours.
Emporium Suites Bangkok is Guest Friendly but you’d better check in for 2 people, to avoid any misunderstanding. And anyway if your plan is to show up with a new ‘guest‘ every night, you should probably chose a less sophisticated place. Just saying.
