The staff (the papasans) are not friendly at all. They’re pushy. They overcharge you if you come by taxi, of just because you are new to the place. The quality has dropped as well.
In my opinion the best place currently for a Soapy Massage in Bangkok is Nataree Massage on Ratchada road. The papasans there are not particularly friendly but they welcome you the same way if you are Thai, Farang or Japanese, they are not pushy and they give the same prices in English and in Thai. They’re all about business and that is what we need in this kind of places.
They have plenty of girls, but only the ones in the Fishbowl do the Soapy Massage, the real one, with an inflatable mat and a lot of soap.
The only problem with Nataree is that it is very busy and that the rooms are not in good conditions. They would need more elevators and also to refurbish some of the rooms. However they have got the staff and the tools to provide a very good Soapy Massage and if you want to try it, this is definitely a place to consider.
Try to avoid the week-ends though.
