Guest Friendly Hotel Bangkok: Le Fenix Sukhumvit, Sukhumvit soi 11, Bangkok

Filed under: Hotels.Le Fenix Sukhumvit is a nice boutique hotel, quite famous in Bangkok for being also the address of the Nest rooftop lounge bar, and for its location, opposite to Q Bar Bangkok. In other words, it’s a rather trendy hotel and I was surprised when they quoted 1,907 baht for a night (double room, no breakfast) at the desk.
A quick check on Agoda confirmed even cheaper prices (1,440 baht for a queen size bed or two twin beds in middle November).
Le Fenix Hotel offers 2 hour free WIFI Internet in the room per night. After the 2 free hours, you’ll have to buy Internet cards at a rate of 50 baht per hour.
Le Fenix Hotel is Guest Friendly. They will only ask to any non registered guest to provide a valid ID before entering the room.
Facilities include an indoor swimming pool and a tuk tuk service.
Location is great if you want to try the trendy bars and clubs of Bangkok, which for a big part are located on the same Sukhumvit soi 11: The Nest, Q Bar, Bed Supperclub, Manchester United cafe, etc. However, note that it’s a long walk to Nana BTS station, the closest station around.
