Sukhumvit Psycho

Sam’s Lodge hotel Bangkok is a small and cheap hotel located on Sukhumvit soi 19, very close to Asoke BTS station and soi Cowboy. The hotel is located behind the Ambassador tailor shop, and the entrance of the hotel is in a small subsoi next to this tailor shop. The reception is on the second floor. The only thing you can see from the street is the hotel sign.

Sam’s Lodge features small “Superior Rooms” and not much bigger, but big enough, “Deluxe Rooms”. All rooms are very basic and half of them have no window at all (both Superior and Deluxe). The prices mentioned on the hotel website are 1,400 baht a night for the Superior and 1,600 for the Deluxe, but at the desk they quoted me 1,000 and 1,200 which seems to be more in line with the standing of this budget hotel.You will even find cheaper rates on Agoda here below (around 850 and 1,000).

No breakfast included, because there is no kitchen in the hotel and therefore no restaurant, but they offer complimentary tea and coffee 24h. All rooms feature free Wifi Internet, as well as the reception area.

Sam’s Lodge Hotel is guest friendly.

The facilities are very basic and this hotel will only satisfy travelers who are on a tight budget, however the location is very good and could justify to choose this place for a short stay.
