Gulliver’s Pattaya is not a naughty place. Then why talking about it here? Well, at least this will save you a trip to the very beginning of Beach Road, where Pattaya looks more like an high end beach resort than like the most famous sex tourist destination in the world.

Gulliver’s Pattaya doesn’t attract the same type of freelancer crowd as Gulliver’s Bangkok Sukhumvit. Or they deny them the entry. I don’t know. Actually it looks much more like Gulliver’s Bangkok Khao San Road. It’s a large beer bar and restaurant with sport TV and pool tables. Clean and cosy.

The food is actually better than in the Bangkok venues, with a good choice of seafood.

Gulliver’s Pattaya is located in the area of Pattaya where big hotels and nice restaurants are. This is where you will find for instance Amari Orchid Pattaya, Holyday Inn Pattaya and this new high end restaurand called Mantra, which looks more like a club than a restaurant, and with menus at 1,500+ and 3,000+.

If you are looking for a nice and rather quiet place to play pool and have a beer, Gulliver’s is the place to go. If you’re looking for freelancers, it is not.
