Guest Friendly Hotel – FuramaXclusive Asoke (Sukhumvit), Bangkok
by Suk Psycho ~ October 29th, 2009. Filed under: Hotels.FuramaXclusive Asoke is the sister Hotel of FuramaXclusive Sukhumvit that I reviewed a few days ago. It offers the same standard and the same kind of facilities: Sauna, Gym, Jacuzzi and Swimming Pool (however the swimming pool is very small and if you like larger ones you’d better check in at the Suk soi 1 hotel).
Being located right on Asoke super busy road can be noisy and boring, but as far as p4p is concerned this is an excellent location: Soi Cowboy is only 3 minutes walk away, as well as both the BTS and the MRT stations. Sukhumvit soi 33 and Nana Plaza are only one BTS station away or 5 minutes by taxi if no traffic. The MRT will allow you to reach Ratchadapisek Massage Parlors (Emmanuelle, Nataree, Poseidon, etc.) in less than 15 minutes. And even Patpong is not that far (20 minutes?) by BTS (change at Siam) or MRT (direct but with a station located a bit further from Patpong).
The rooms at FuramaXclusive Asoke are new and modern. Internet is available for free in the room (both wireless and LAN) and the hotel is guest friendly.
They recommend to book online and not at the desk or by phone. On Agoda the Deluxe double room (cheapest one) is priced 3,500 baht with Breakfast for a stay in early November. But hurry up! High season is coming, and so are high prices.
All the Guest Friendly Hotels in Bangkok are listed here.
Note: I always check the hotels and verify the information provided here, however I strongly suggest that you confirm all details with the reception BEFORE booking. Prices are valid at the time of writing only.

Hi SP,
I do love your website, but this time the information given is not 100% accurate.
The FuramaXClusive Asoke is a great hotel, but I have never paid more than THB 2000 for a night including breakfast – and I have stayed there many times throughout the year. Their breakfast is really great, and from 6:00 to 7:30 pm they offer free snacks and beer on their roof with the small “pools”, next to the small gym.
Bangkok has so many hotels, I dont really think there is a big price difference in Nov / Dec, while in Phuket and other resorts there is…
I have seen a quite new hotel near Nana today. It’s called Marcopolo Bangkok and seems to be a hidden gem… Ever checked this one, SP?
Best
D.

@ DaveHK: Thanks. That’s right, however Wotif gives you a last minute rate and for a minimum of 3 nights stay. I try to give an average rate available to all. Didn’t know Marcopolo Bangkok. It’s on Sukhumvit soi 2, I’ll check it out.
