Pink Panther Bar, Patpong, Bangkok, Thailand

Filed under: Go-Go Bars, Night Clubs, Prices.Pink Panther bar in Patpong is a bit different from other Go-Go bars as there is no central stage, but rather several small stages across the bar where the girls take turn to dance. The bar is well arranged and they try to give it a cosy atmosphere with pink and white colors and comfortable seats. The result is actually pretty good.
The girls are sexy dressed with underwear, fishnets, and a kind of sexy white negligee. Some of them are quite pretty.
But the most unique thing at Pink Panther is the Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) stage in the middle of the bar. Every night between 10pm and midnite they feature Thai Boxing fights. Then they remove the stage, put a few extra tables and stools, and the bar becomes a 100% go-go bar.
Last time I went there I saw 2 fights, the first one invoving a Farang (a tall Italian guy) versus a Thai guy, and the second one 2 Thai guys. From what I’ve been told it is not unusual that Farang boxers participate in the show.
I am not very aware about Thai Boxing but the fights seemed to be quite good, although they refrain the punches and kicks and there is no blood involved.

The Singha Beer bottle at Pink Panther go-go bar costs 130 baht. The Lady Drink 150. The BF 600. And I was quoted 1500 ST by one of the ladies there.
A very good place to take newbies out and let them discover 2 specialties of the country: Muay Thai and Go-Go bars!

I’m curious what you used to record the clip, was it a camera phone? The quality was okay but it looks like you were doing it somewhat secretly. I was advised that cameras’ aren’t well received in most bars or gogos. So I’m curious how you managed to get the clip and whether or not you know of any places that allow for some minor recording?

@MS: I used my mobile phone yes. But this was not done secretly. Actually the girls encouraged the customers to take pictures and videos of the boxing fight. However they don’t want to be on the pictures and videos. Only the boxers.

Do you know of any camera friendly bars? lol, I ask not because I’m being perv-ish. I’m thinking on my next trip, possibly some time in April(or earlier), I’d bring my iphone so that I can keep track of the faces with the numbers. But then again, I suppose I could always ask to take their pictures outside of the bars.

@MS: No. I always take photos (if any) at my place or in the ST room, with the girl of my choice. Sometimes they don’t even accept! Even with their clothes on!
