Casanova Gogo Bar, Nana Plaza: for Lady Boys advanced users
by Suk Psycho ~ November 4th, 2008. Filed under: Lady Boy.Is it because I went there late? Or the economic slowdown? Or the Baht being weak? I don’t know, but the Lady Boys at Casanova were quite aggressive compare to the ones at Temptations or Cascade.
They all want to sit with you, they stare at you, they surround you, they touch you and… they never leave!
Casanova is a standard size Gogo bar (I talk about the bar itself here, not the features of the “hostesses”), not small like Temptations but not huge like Cascade either. Nice couches in front of the stage. The bar is large enough to not feel embarrassed but small enough to see everything in the bar.
This night they had something like 10 to 12 “ladies” and… no punter! And as I said, the “ladies” here can be very pushy. In my opinion this is not a place for a first timer or a curious adventurer.
Price scheme is basically the same as in Cascade: Lady (Boy) Drink 150 baht, BF 600 baht, ST room 300 baht and ST 1500.
Casanova Gogo bar is located on the second floor of Nana Plaza, in the corner, on the left hand side. Probably the only Gogo bar with a front door. Don’t knock, get in!

Perhaps due to their aggressive behavior, or to my curiosity, Casanova was my first experience with LBs; they tugged me inside like ants do with harmless prey; once inside, I got examined, besieged, poked and puckered. I must have been the only customer; they were all over me; I knew they would; yet once I layed my eyes on one beauty, the rest shyed off. Turned out my ST date was quite a memorable one; very pretty, very nice and accommodating and a good, first, experience.
After that, I manage to walk past Casanova every time, with a big smile (a grin rather), favoring Obsessions and the like.

When you walk into Casanova, first you see several LB outside then you have to open the door -inside to the left is a small bar, very inside to the left is a tiny stage for pole dancing or such. To the right are more booths for sitting.
My problem was I was the only customer, and I visiting several times over several nights. That puts alot of attention and pressure, whereas in Obsessions or Cascade you can just sit for a while because there are so many other customers also.
The second problem was the small number of LBs -outside maybe 6, inside maybe 8. Limited selection and range.

One of the LBs told me that mixing the hormones and drinking alcohol was a bad idea, leading to erratic behavior and such. That’s why she opted for implants. Haven’t a clue as to whether this is true or not.
I stayed at the Nana, when I went back the guard by the elevator checking IDs wanted to make sure I knew my guest was a LB [instead of an unpleasant surprise later]. Part of the routine procedure.
Thank you for hosting this discussion area, since LBs do not consider themselves gay.
