Temptations Gogo bar, Nana Plaza, Bangkok: temptations for what?

Compare to Cascade and even to standard Gogos, Temptations is a very small Gogo bar, with the width of a corridor only, seats on the side and a narrow stage in the middle. And the bar at the back. It reminded me of 5 Star Gogo bar, actually, but without the live band. And with the katoeys!
There are not that many Lady Boys there, maybe 10 or 12, but they’re all yours! 
When I went there, there were only 2 or 3 punters, which considering the size of the bar was not that bad. All Farangs, whereas Cascade customers where all Asians. Do they have Farang friendly Ladyboy Gogo and Asian friendly Ladyboy Gogo or was it just a coincidence? I don’t know.
The drawback with a small Lady Boy Gogo bar is the same as with a small girl Gogo bar: the choice is very limited and one can’t get in or stay in without being noticed. Therefore it is a bit more intimidating than a large place.
Once again, as I did in Cascade, I invited one of these ladies for a drink (not sure I will do that every time though!). That’s why I’m able to confirm that a Lady Drink at Temptations costs 130 baht, which was 5 baht cheaper than the bottle of Singha beer that I bought for me. BF costs 600 and I was quoted 1500 ST and 3000 LT which I politely declined.

I think you’re being cool with your relatively open minded approach to LB bars here, I know that this is taboo/derided in many other forums. It’s like S&M I guess…. either you get it, or are intrigued by it, or don’t get it at all. The LB’s vary as much as the girls in the bars: doing it for the baht, some are nice, some are not.
I will say that as an aficianado that I thought Obsessions was fantastic, a must for those interested in this sort of thing.
I will also urge you to include the Guess Bar next to the Rajah Hotel on soi Nana in your listing. It is different however in that it is not a gogo but a small lounge, the music is older (70-80s) & lower in volume & there are, give or take, 8-13 girls around in the evenings, very friendly, very laid back.
If your not into it & a westerner(with that whole gay/transgender is weird background), I fear one might freak out since there is no show or dancers to distance you from a one on one meeting with the “girls” since they will endeavor to meet the new customers. The place is very well run however & a fun& quieter alternative to the gogos. Thanks

A few LB outside, draw the curtain and go inside. First problem was I was the only customer, repeated over several nights and time. Inside maybe 12 LBs. Long dance bar, you sit on the sides. Cola about 120 on the night I went. The costs for ST and LT and BF seem to be universal throughout NEP. The selection of LBs was limited.
If you seek a crowd of customers and a large selection of LBs with ample sitting, go to Obsessions or Cascade.

Temptations have some funny ones. Of course you love the scene or you skip. Cascades and obsessions have more stunners but some are starfishes. Casanova is like a trip. King’s castle III is very nice too, although the guess bar following on the internet completely writes down this place. Well Guess bar is a rip off itself. I agree 100% with another poster. Not to speak about the group of farangs that hang around there. Experts in nothing else then exploiting others. Stay away. Avoid at all costs

I went to Temptations last year and again this year. Prices are the same as other LB bars. Outside there usually is about 6 LBs standing or sitting around. When you go inside, you see a long narrow dance bar with seating on either side. The first time I went I felt alittle cramped compared to other go-go bars, there is not alot of space. Inside there were about 8 LBs dancing and 4 LBs mingling. The other visit there were fewer. Looks varied, some were tall, some short, etc.
I read a comment earlier that Temptations might be a bar for more experienced visitors, I agree with that perspective. All the LBs were veteran.
The biggest problem I saw was when I walked in there were only 2 customers, who were actually on their way out, so I was there alone. I stayed about 45 minutes, zero other customers showed up. So either go with a group of your friends, or check out another bar maybe.

I went there last week, have 30 LD inside and all fun make my Mr.Dick very happy. I took 2 back to my room and was fantastic time I ever had!!!

I was there in July and August. I must say my favorite. At least most lb’s behave. Obsessions is right now full of superstar BS. Cascades is turning into something out of control. Some lb’s there behave like freaks. IMO it is gang inside trying to pick out innocent newbies. Also Lb’s who don’t fit into Obsessions anymore ( drinking, coming late for work, irritating customers etc) are being transferred to Cascades and Carnival ( a devil’s pit). This started in September and expect some changes in the coming months.
Temptations is a world of it’s own. Maybe not so many stunners but friendly and open to threesomes. Try that at Cascades or Obsessions. Also LT is about 3000. Obsessions and Cascades dare to ask 5000/6000 bath. Outrageous. Save yourself time skip these too. Try Temptations instead.

5000/6000 baht? I’ve never heard those numbers anywhere in BKK. That’s completely absurd.
Folks, anyone paying that kind of cash should get on the next plane for Belarus or Ukraine. If you’re going to drop that kind of money, you might as well be fucking an 18 year old perfect Barbie doll.

Prices mentioned seem too high. Most common price for me for ST in the LB bars has been 1000. Have paid 1500 too. Cascades tends to get my vote, as the location and route to the Nana ST hotels is most discreet! I’ve never actually had too much BS in any of the bars - I find just being friendly, confident and mildly assertive does the trick.
